Rand slips on Euro cuts
The rand has slipped further on thursday when markets absorbed news about a European central bank cut on rates to 0.75%. This is a record low for the ECB but has not made any more commitments to stabilize the Euro zone.

The rand was trading at 10.0836 to the Euro at 3PM on thursday the 5 July, a (-1.27%) decrease from the day before. The rand was trading at $8.1149 to the dollar a slight drop from the day before at $8.1317. Many investors are seeing the dollar as a safe haven following all the problems seen in the Euro Zone.
